Schock Incurs Massive Debt for Legal Aid – 844-292-1318 Virginia legal aid

Former Rep. Aaron Schock went into hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt to a prominent law firm, according to campaign finance reports made available Wednesday. The Illinois Republican’s re-election campaign – Schock for Congress – reported debts of 3,919 to Jones Day, one of the several firms that is representing him as he deals with allegations he misspent official and campaign money. Schock’s former aides have been called to testify before a grand jury in Springfield, Illinois, about his spending and reimbursement practices. He has also hired Richmond, Virginia-based firm McGuire Woods and a former U.S. attorney for the central district of Illinois to represent him.
